Development Agencies turn to Refurbished Office Furniture for Look, Value and Sustainability

June 15, 2010 – Businesses in Reading, PA now have an easier way to address their developmental needs. The Greater Reading Chamber, The Berks Economic Partnership, and The Greater Berks Development Fund recently relocated into a single building so they could offer current and prospective Berks County businesses a one stop shop for their potential growth endeavors.  EthoSource President John Gallen stated, “It is admirable that both groups chose to meet their budgets in an appealing and environmentally friendly way by utilizing recycled office furniture in the creation of their new workspaces.”

EthoSource, LLC, the Pennsylvania based company that designed and completed the project, utilizes pre-owned and refurbished office furniture to create professional workspaces at exceptional value.  The goal for EthoSource was to merge the three separate development entities into a coordinated and efficient presence by meeting their needs for cubicles, seating, desks and reception area.   According to Ellen Horan, President and CEO of the Greater Reading Chamber, “Going with refurbished office furniture saved us thousands of dollars but didn’t sacrifice that professional atmosphere we sought.  Our staff is happy and motivated and the Chamber has the professional look and feel any business would want.”

Jon Scott, President of the Berks Economic Partnership agreed, “Purchasing furniture from EthoSource to furnish Berks Economic Partnership’s (BEP) new office space was an excellent way for BEP to cut some unnecessary costs while being able to invest in very high quality furniture.”  By using high quality pre-owned and refurbished office furniture, EthoSource also provided an environmentally friendly solution.   As a green-minded business, EthoSource offers businesses across the country a variety of workspace solutions by specializing in using and reusing office furniture in a way that is friendly to both budgets and the environment.
