How long have you been at EthoSource?

4-1/2 years, I started December 2010

What do your different job responsibilities as a Project Manager involve?

I work with just about every department to get projects out the door! I work with Sales on the front end of projects with delivery and installation quotes, Design and Production on pulls for projects, and even Accounting on project invoicing and reconciliation. I order new products for projects, and work with our manufacturers on their lead times and the incoming freight. I hire installers and work through issues that come up during installation. And, I even work with other trades such as General Contractors, electricians, voice/data etc. when a project is being installed in a brand new space. Additionally, I’m Project Management Team Manager, so I oversee Sherri and Deb, who are awesome Project Managers. We’re often being pulled in many directions, but at the end of the day, we do our best to have happy customers!

What’s your favorite part about working at EthoSource?

I enjoy the people that I work with! In addition to our day-to-day responsibilities, we talk about our families, activities and plans that are going on outside of work, share funny videos and try to keep it light when the job gets stressful. Someone always has chocolate on hand too, it’s a great support system we have here!

If you could work with any company in the world in managing their office furniture project, who would it be?

The best customers to work with are organized, yet flexible. I’m not sure who that might be, but it probably would not involve a New York City installation; those are always challenging!

What’s your favorite office chair?

I’ve been enjoying a refurbished Humanscale Freedom chair for a while now. I like the adjustability, and the flex in the back is just enough tension.

What are three things you couldn’t live without?

Mascara, donuts and my family!

What is something most people don’t know about you?

I was a REALLY shy kid. You’d never guess that if you knew me now because I’m pretty loud.

How do you enjoy spending your time outside of work?

I enjoy cooking and entertaining friends and family. We have a vegetable garden that I like tending to, and my in laws have a beach house in North Wildwood that we love to go to year round on weekends to relax. My 2-1/2 year old son, Henry, keeps me pretty busy too!

Anything other interesting events or facts that you’d like to share?!

Aww, well of course, I’m expecting our second baby in (eek!) about 4 weeks. So that’s exciting but I’m a little nervous about how being a mom of 2 kids will be.
