Two years ago EthoSource completed an office furniture project for a construction company based in Rockville MD. The project included six refurbished Herman Miller Ethospace cubicles, designed specifically to meet the customer’s functional and aesthetic needs. Fast forward to 2012, that same company was in need of six more cubicles to accommodate their recent growth.
The first set of refurbished cubicles provided by EthoSource were customized specifically to the customer’s needs. As a construction company, they needed their cubicles to have extra work surface space to spread out blueprints. EthoSource was able to equip each refurbished cubicle with custom wood laminate work surfaces that were 36 inches deep. This custom work surface allowed employees to work more efficiently as they could spread all of their work out. Each workstation was also outfitted with rail tiles for paper management, two pedestals and two flipper units for storage. Aesthetically the refurbished cubicles were given a high-end look by incorporating wood veneer tiles, glass tiles, wood laminate surfaces, and light gray accents on the interior of the cubicle.
EthoSource was able to match in the exact same wood veneer tiles and light gray accent tiles as the previous project completed two years ago, giving the entire office a uniform look. This project was a perfect example of the beauty of Herman Miller Ethospace’s ability to accommodate a business’ growth. Refurbished Ethospace cubicles allow EthoSource to continue to provide a consistent look for a business as it expands.
